Tanning Bed Rentals Online – Understand The Commercial Classes

If you are in the market for some new tanning beds you should consider all your options. Buying, leasing, and of course there are tanning bed rentals which can easily be found online. But before you do anything you should understand the commercial classes of the beds.

Class A, C, E, and S are the common classes with almost all commercial beds having an E or S rating. Class A beds are residential, while Class C is mid level, and Class E & S are high end beds.

1. Class A
Beds rated class A are level entry beds. This is a class that is commonly seen on home tanning beds. They are considerably cheaper in price than commercial lines and they aren’t completed with quite as much attention to the more elegant touches.

The body of the beds is narrower than other classes and the number of lamps is below 24 with the average being around 16. There are no extra perks like cooling systems or facial lamps. Just a basic level entry tanning bed.
2. Class C
These beds are somewhere between the A’s and the E’s. You’ll find class C beds both in the home and in smaller salons. They are a quality bed with the quality lamps and plenty of lamps. They just do not have any of the extra features that you see on the high end beds.

3. Class E
These are commercial level beds. They cost a great deal more, they are built for heavy usage, and they come with top of the line lamps which are stronger and produce a deeper tan that lasts longer.

These are the beds found in salons that are serious about providing their clients with the ultimate tanning experience. They have a wider frame and body so they are comfortable for clients of all sizes. They come with built in cooling systems that will keep clients comfortable while tanning and they have a minimum of 26 lamps plus face lamps.

The Lumina E 40 XLC, Lumina 40 SLI, Sunscape 765V, and Sunscape SS755 are all excellent class E beds.

4. Class S
Just when you thought the best possible bed had made it to the market the Class S beds came along. This bed is for the most serious of tanners and is found in the most luxurious of salons.

They cut tanning sessions in half and provide the deepest tan possible. The class S beds have additional face lamps and they are adjustable so you can aim the intensity where you need it most. There is 1000 watts of power in these beds and as many as 57 lamps.

They have a built in misting system that keeps the skin cool and moist while tanning. Moist skin tans 20% faster which is an added bonus. And if that isn’t enough they also often have aromatherapy systems that will rejuvenate and relax.

Class S beds to recently hit the market are the UWE Line, Golden Tan and the AfterBronzers®. But be prepared to get the check book out for this class of bed which runs around the $20,000 mark. These truly are for the elite!

Now that you understand the commercial classes of tanning beds you can decide whether tanning bed rentals, leases, or purchases are best for you.
