Self Tanning Products

There’s nothing sexier than that deep bronze tan. Trouble is these days we’ve all become much more health conscious and recognize the dangers to our health that are a result of tanning beds and tanning in the sun. Not to worry! You can get that great tan using sunless tanning lotions. Check out these self tanning products.

1. Au Courant
At first you may not find this product overly appealing because it has a slight odor and it is a bit on the thick side but it’s a great choice for those that have light to medium skin tones. It also has the Bronze Face Gel which is an excellent lightly scented sunless tanner for the face that goes on easy and dries quickly.
2. Banana Boat
This line comes highly recommended and it also makes a great moisturizer because it’s pumped full of vitamins A and E. The coconut and mandarin scent is hard to resist. Banana Boat has a full line of suntan lotions as well as their self tanning products. The self tanner produces a much more even finish when it is mixed half and half with a moisturizer.
3. California North
This self tanner comes highly recommended. It smells better than almost all the competition and it goes on easy, lasts longer, and had a nice deep true tan color.
4. Clarins
This one costs a little more and is a little on the oily side but it does dry quick and has a nice light scent. It produces average coloring.
5. Coppertone
This self tanner is priced well, lasts long, and produces a sexy golden brown. It’s draw back is that it tends to bleed and permanently stain fabric. It also has quite a strong smell although it does fade with time.
6. Doctor’s Dermatologic Formula
This is a fragrance free self-tanner that goes on nice and smooth and is easy to apply. It produces great coloring and if you want a darker color just repeat the process.
7. Jan Tana
This one doesn’t smell great, is messy, and it’s also a little pricey but it provides a terrific dark tan which makes it an excellent choice for olive toned skin.
8. Neutrogena
This self-tanner is available in lotion and foam but the foam is not recommended. The lotion has a sponge applicator that makes spreading really easy for a nice even tan. It does have a light odor but it does dissipate quickly. This is a spray you’ll want to test on a hidden spot as many do report an orange coloring.
9. Philosophy
This self tanning lotion offers a good price, a light scent, and an excellent dark color. To darken the color just repeat application until you get the results you want.
10. Tantowel
This is a handy self tanning product nicely scented and easy wipe on application. The color produced is on the light sight so best suited for fair skin.
