Tanning Question (Indoor)?

Today was my first day tanning in a salon. I’m rather pale besides my arms because I work outside a lot so I have a lovely farmers tan also. I did 7 minutes today and haven’t noticed any change, I know it will take some time though.
I don’t use any lotions or anything, I just go in and lay there. The salon I use limits beginners to 30 minutes a week so I was thinking of using up my other 20 tomorrow. 10 minutes each time separated by a couple of hours. I don’t burn too easily, do you think that would be ok? And do you have any lotion recommendations that could speed up the process?
I don’t want a super dark tan, I just want to match the rest of me to my arms lol
Thanks!
*Please no lectures about the safety. I am aware and I am only going to even out my farmers tan. Once that’s gone I’m not going to continue going.*
Most tanning salons do not allow tanners to go twice in one day. I would not suggest doing so, either. I would spread it out and go 8 or 9 minutes one day and the next day, depending on how your skin dealt with the 8 or 9 minutes, go again. It may seem as though 7 minutes didn’t do anything but if you bump up the time too much, you could burn and then have to put off going for another day or two. It does take time so don’t rush it by going twice a day. It is ”better” to spread it out and go only once a day.
As far as lotions go, any lotion is better than none. I would highly recommend that you use a lotion. Bronzers speed up the process quite a bit.
Hope this helps

I’m surprised you can go in without a lotion- my tanning salon won’t let anyone tan unless they see them bring in a lotion- you should definitely buy a tanning oil/lotion to not only get a nicer looking tan, but to protect your skin. I definitely wouldn’t go for 20 minutes tomorrow- space everything out so you won’t harm your skin too much. plus it takes time to tan.
