age to use a tanning bed?

i’m 17 years old and want to use a tanning bed i live in iowa. What age do i have to be and can i buy safety goggles for the bed at the salon i am going to?

i live in Alabama i don’t know if there are laws or anything but my gym that i use to go to said that you had to be 14 however i wouldn’t use it too much cause it is not good for you skin could cause skin cancer later in life if over used. also i wouldn’t use safety goggles just keep you eyes closed. i know people that used them and they had rings around their eyes didn’t look good.

Please don’t! Tans are gross looking, in my opinion, and they ruin your skin and make you age. It can ruin the elasticity of it and make you get wrinkles prematurely. You won’t notice it anytime soon, but in the future, you’ll regret it.
