so, what does a bronzer do? is it better to have a bronzer? or just to have regular lotion. And if anyone could give me their opinion on which lotion works good cuz i have a hard time getting tan. thanks!
Bronzers contain a trace of self tanner that is only activated under the UV light. the point of putting it into a lotion is so when the client leaves the tanning session they have more of a "immediate result" resulting in a shade darker then they would have gotten from just the regular session.
Of course the bronzer fades as u shower but not to the point where it is noticeabley different (not like plain old self tanner).
If you are going to use one, make sure it is a single bronzer or a natural bronzer.
Now a days there is alot of 10x bronzers etc but these only work if you have a DARK BASE TAN underneath. They contain for example, a 10 times bronzer contains 10 different types of bronzers that equal up to 1% but all those different chemicals over top white skin blends to orange and streaks!
Single/natural bronzers are great. They arnt strong enough to turn you orange but are great for quick results from the tanning session and an extra "boost" in color
Tanning lotions with bronzers give you a little bit of color while you tan. They are kind of like a sunless tanner. Tanning lotions without bronzers help mousturize the skin and help you build the tan faster. I use designer skin products. They are not the cheapest, but they are the highest quality, and if you get this brand with a bronzer, they will not streak like others. Try looking on ebay for samples of different ones and try them out. They are the best!!
