Tanning-booth lamps also emit ultraviolet radiation, but the client’s skin rmains cool. Does the lack of heat produced by these lamps make this type of tanning any safer than sunbathing? Why or why not? ( Making comparasions)

No, the heat from these lamps is ultraviolet radiation, which is what causes the skin to tan. They are considered more dangerous than the sun’s radiation because they are more intense, emitting more ultraviolet rays in a less amount of time than the sun. Tanning booths semi-safe because they are calibrated and each client is given a booth time limit that they cannot exceed.
