I would love to use Consumer Report but it costs money to get information. I plan on buying a facial tanning lamp but I don’t know what kind/brand I should buy… Help please? THANKS

I live in scotland, and i think im suffering from sad syndrome, long darks days! ive read that the sun releases a happy hormone or something like that, i was wondering if i spent time under a tanning lamp that my mood might improve?

I remember my mom had one back in the 50s. I thought it would be a good way to kill bed bugs. I don’t have em yet but people keep saying eventually you will. I remember it having an infra-red light and could really burn you if you were not careful.

No, they don’t. If you want a tanning light you have to get a tanning light!

Will they cause eye damage?
They will burn your eyes. It will feel like someone took sandpaper to your eyeballs. Don’t even think about doing it.
When people are in a tanning booth they wear special goggles. You can’t walk around at home with blinders on.

i would like one or two lamps that put out mostly uv-a light, because i want to bronze,and not burn. im trying to stay away from uv-b so i don’t burn, but i cant find any lamps that would tan me, or any bulbs that would work.

My tanning bed had the twenty minute lamps that are same as dead now.Got the dark tan lamps which you are suppose to get a twent minute tan in 10 minutes,what are the best times to stay in the dark tan lamps. Thanks
