Is there a weight limit in tanning beds?

I want to start tanning after work tonight but I’m afraid I’m too heavy for the beds. I weigh 170 lbs. Last time I got in a tanning bed is creaked and make noises like I was gonna bust through the glass. How much weight can they hold? Thanks in advance for your answer!

Trust me, they can hold a lot more than 170 lbs! Don’t fret about going through the glass or anything. Besides, a beautician will tell you whether they think you’re not suitable for a tanning bed.

Just remember, that tanning beds are dangerous and so many people end up with skin cancer, which is sometimes fatal. Building up a gradual tan by a tinted moisturizer is a much better option. But that’s your choice.
