Can you use tanning beds just for your face?

Never used before or intent to use again but need to look my best for a modeling shoot so can i just use on my face or have to be my whole body? Also, is there a minimum age to use tanning beds, i’m 17.
No – not unless you smother yourself in a blocker, or keep your clothes on (not sure thatd be advisable or even allowed though!)
However there are tanning lamps you can buy which you just sit in front of

I would really recommend though that you go fake – especially if you are modelling as tan lamps can seriously age your skin!!
Try this – it’ll be better for your skin and give you a nice light healthy "glow" rather than an obvious tan

The clue is in the name ‘tanning bed’ as in bed i.e your whole body.

only if you want your face to end up like wrinkled old prune in years to come. Tanning beds are meant to be used with extreme caution, or preferably, not at all. Spray tans are great for a special occasion, and not too dear. You can do your own, with the help of a mate or family member. I hear St Tropez products are very good and easy to use.
It you’re intent on just having your face tanned, though I can’t think why – what if they wanted a nice vest shot or something ? – talk to a make-up consultant on a cosmetics counter and they’ll flog some tan foundation product to you in a flash, ha ha , they’re well – trained, those boys and girls … see you on the cover of ‘Vogue ‘ ??!

DO NOT use a tanning bed – you are going to dehydrate your skin and might even burn. If it’s a shoot, there will be a makeup artist on hand who will put foundation on you if they want you to look tan. Or buy a face lotion with a gradual self tanner and use for 2 days to give yourself a natural glow
